Young people head off to Summer Madness

We are about to head off to Irelands Premier Christian event - Summer Madness. This year we are taking about 30 young people, many of who have never been to this event before.

It is a great time for many different people for many different reasons, be it time to spend with friends, chilling out in the sun (we wish) making new friends, learning more about God or any number of other different things.

While we are away we would ask for your support in terms of prayer. As we go away as young people, the prayerful support of the wider church is essential in making this event something different than just a weekend away for the young people who go. When we pray, God makes the impossible happen. So let us pray for our young people.

Let's pray for:

  • Safety as we camp and general good health as we are away.
  • God to work in the lives of all the young people who are at Summer Madness, but especially our young people who are engaging in a new form of worship - perhaps for the first time.
  • That the young people would really be inspired to follow God because of what they see at SM.
  • That they would continue to walk with God if they make a commitment to Him at the event.
  • That the leaders would be helpful, sensitive and useful to the young people there.
  • They the young people would build better relationships with them, and this in turn would feed into our wider church family!

Thanks, we will upload photos when we get back, and have a little report ready and written by one of the young people! Keep your eyes open!
