Welcome to Seapatrick Parish web site, we hope you will find its content both helpful and useful.
Tradition has it that Seapatrick was an overnight resting place for St. Patrick on his journeys between Downpatrick and Armagh (hence the name) and Christian Worship has been offered in the area since the 5th century. The present church buildings have existed since 1837 and 1882 respectively.

We pride ourselves in offering a comprehensive range of worship within the parameters of that which is Anglican and are particularly blessed with very talented and faithful Organist / Choirmaster and both Junior and Senior choirs to lead our worship.
While justly proud of our fine buildings and their furnishings, we are also conscious of the fact that the word ‘ecclesia’, meaning church, means a fellowship of people, not a building. It is the people of God in this place who are the Church. Banbridge is known as ‘The Star of the County Down’ but its brightest jewel of all by far is its people.
We hope as you peruse this website you will find answers to any questions you might have had in being attracted to it in the first place. Any further queries will be willingly answered if you contact our Parish Office.
Thank you for visiting us.
